Last time we wrote about Wireless Internet service providers in Nepal, many of which happen to be legal VoIP providers as well. However, after many illegal VoIP activities going on in the country, the government had decide to legalize it. That has lead to many larger providers go into the voice-data-telephony business.

Finally after a long wait, Facebook has revealed it’s chat client (currently a trial one) for Windows Operating System. Facebook messenger for Windows is an IM (Instant Messaging) program that let’s you chat with your Facebook friend without logging into the main site. Recently Supreme Court (SC) asked Nepal Telecom Authority (NTA) board to stop nominating the board members until a final verdict. Ministry of Information and Communication (MoIC) and NTA has been involved in this political dividend of the posts. 18th edition of CAN Infotech, Nepal’s only the information and technology exhibition, is going to be organized from Magh 12-17th this year.
