धेरै नेपाली ब्लगर मित्रहरुले हामीलाई ब्लगिङ्ग सम्बन्धि प्रश्नहरु शेयर गर्नुभएको छ| नेपाली ब्लगहरुको थोरै भएपनि अनुसन्धान अनि बिश्लेषण भएका पोस्टहरु पनि पढ्न पाइएकै छ| तर नेपाली भाषामा लेखिएका ब्लग/वेबसाइट अंग्रेजीमा लेखिएको जस्तो प्रभावकारी नभएको हामी मध्य धेरैलाई लागेको छ, जुन केहि हदसम्म साँचो पनि हो| प्राय: गुगल लगाएतका अन्य सर्च इन्जिनमा नेपाली भाषामा न्युनरुपमा खोजीकार्य (Natural Language Search) हुने गर्छ, नेपाली भाषाका ब्लगहरु सर्च इन्जिन प्रेमी हुन धेरै कठिन छ (थोरै सर्च मतलब गुगल भण्डारमा थोरै शब्दहरु पर्न जानु)|
हामी यहाँ  नेपाली भाषामा लिखियेका ब्लगलाई कसरी सर्च इन्जिन सहयोगी (SEO – Search Engine Optimisation and SEF – Search Engine Friendly) बनाउन सकिन्छ भनेर विश्लेषण गर्दैछौं | मुख्यतः हामी ब्लगस्पट ब्लगर र वोर्डप्रेस (दुवै वोर्डप्रेस डट कम र डट अर्ग) मा आधारित हुनेछौ एस SEO Guide मा |

१. लिंक संरचना (permalink/URL structure)

धेरै नेपाली ब्लगहरुमा एउटा साझा कुरा देखिन्छ (हेर्नु तस्बिर), प्रायजसो वेबसाइटहरुको पोस्ट URL अर्थहीन पाईन्छ| यसका २ कारण छन् – पहिलो नेपाली भाषाको वेबमा बिकाश नहुनु (Lack of Internationalization), दोस्रो ब्लगरले ध्यान नदिनु|
समाधान: ब्लगस्पट ब्लगर र वोर्डप्रेस डट कम का ब्लगरले (क) कि त शिर्षकमा केहि शब्दहरु अंग्रेजीमा लेख्ने (ख) कि भने पहिला पुरै अंग्रेजी शीर्षकमा पोस्ट प्रकाशन गरेर पुन: शिर्षकलाई नेपालीमा लेखि पुन:प्रकाशन गर्नुपर्छ| (ग) वोर्डप्रेस डट अर्ग का ब्लगरले पोस्ट स्लगमा शीर्षकमा भएका कि-वोर्ड राख्नुस|

Never forget the power of URI – make is meaningful, in blogspot you can republish the article with a Nepali title to achieve this.

२. भाषामा एकरुपता (use of common phonetic or unicode words)

नागरिक न्युज देखि हाम्रो येही पोस्ट सम्म धेरै शब्दहरुको संरचनामा विभेद पाइन्छ| नेपाली बृहत शब्दकोषको अनुसरण गर्नु नै उपयुक्त हुन्छ| समस्या हामीलाई भन्दा पनि सर्च इन्जिनहरुलाई पर्छ- एउटै शब्द (मानौं शब्द – word, कसैले सब्द, कसैले सव्द लेखेको पाईन्छ) मा एकरुपता नहुदा गुगल/बिंग लगाएतका सर्च इन्जिनहरुले अनाबश्यक नतिजा निकाल्न सक्छन (multiple instance of same word/phrase)| सायद यो नेपाली भाषाका ब्लग र वेबसाइटको विकाश संगै सुध्रिएला भन्ने आशा गरौ|

३. पोस्टहरु बीचमा लिंक नहुनु (Lack of linkages among posts)

तपाई वर्डप्रेसमा नेपाली साहित्यका कविता लेख्नु हुन्छ? के ति कविताहरु बिच (भाग १, २.. अनि उस्तै वर्ग/ट्याग) लिंक गर्नु भएको छ? पोस्टको लम्बाई हेरेर २-६ वोटा सम्म (आन्तरिक – आफ्नै पोस्टहरु र बाह्य वेबसाइटको) लिंक राख्न सकिन्छ|

1. Remove plugins that are unnecessary
2. Speed up your page (Search engines treat this seriously, and good for slow internet like in Nepal)
3. Use caching (if no CDN is available, or you don’t intend to purchase one)

Some Offline SEO Tips

(Target: Generate traffic to your website / blog, NOT revenue)
1. Business Card – get the card imprinted with blog logo, URL, email (email is more important thank link)
2. Back hood of your car or sidebars in your mo-bike
3. Flyers – if you own a house in New Road, you gonna make it all
4. Stickers – use wisely
5. Back of your mobile phone, tablet or laptop cover – (why show that manufacturer logo?)
6. T-shirt print – if you think, many people will wear a t-shirt with your blog name/url in it
7. Meeting another blogger offline – there are awesome coffee shops in Kathmandu now, get to meet (call us, if you want)
8. Magazines – we aren’t sure if our dailies understand the importance of publishing our blog articles in them (?)
