We explore 3 different methods to recognize disk drives inside computer (Windows PC) – each of them should assist us to distinguish if your PC has HDD or SSD inside it? Or the same applies to external disks.
Method 1: Disk property
In deed, no good method but should fairly provide basic information regarding your drives. Go to your computer’s Device Manager > Hard Drives and/or Disk Management and open drive properties from the context menu. Detail of this process is explained in the video below.
Method 2: Disk Optimise
Not so trustworthy method. But Fragment and disk optimise provides lot of information than the disk properties. This is the easiest method but not accurate most of the times.
