Within 24 hours of US wise release of iPad, Dev-Team has jailbreaked it successfully. According to tweet from one of the members of that team they were successful in logging into the iPad.
This opens the floodgates of loading cydia into the sytem and perform other several Apple non-recomendated functions including syncing with iphone and running parallel application.
