The much talked-about Blackberry services have finally been launched in Nepal. Ncell, Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) and Research In Motion (RIM) have introduced Blackberry Solutions in the country today. Ncell is the first service provider to introduce Blackberry solutions in Nepal and EMS will assist in launching, delivering, supporting and selling this service to customers.
Together with Ncell, EMS will address the market by delivering a suite of Blackberry products and services for Ncell’s business as well as individual customers.
“With the Blackberry solution we are taking out customers to a higher level of mobility for both work and play. Blackberry Smartphone subscribers at Ncell will benefit from accessing their emails anywhere within the reach of Ncell’s mobile network and 180 operators in 75 countries,” said CEO of Ncell.
Ncell is offering Blackberry Enterprise Server for their corporate customers and Blackberry Internet Service for smaller businesses and individual users. Initially, Ncell is offering the 9700 Bold version of the Smartphone which has been priced at Rs 49,999.Blackberry solutions by Ncell offers two tariffs for individuals and corporate clients. For individuals, the cost has been estimated at Rs 1,000 per month while for corporate, the cost is Rs 1,500. Blackberry is a line of mobile e-mail and Smartphone devices developed and designed by Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM) since 1996.
Blackberry solution goes well beyond traditional mobility solutions to incorporate light weight and functionally powerful hand held devices with professional software solutions. The result is the ability to communicate well beyond the office.
