Picovico Convert Photos into Videos instantly

Picovico, a Morp-heus Ventures company, has launched premium version of its web app for its existing 200,000 plus users as well as new users across the globe with an aim of providing better video making services directly from the still photographs.

The company, which is also a part of startup Chile program, has launched premium service in order to provide easier access of making videos at lesser price. Picovico premium is launched by Janaki Technology, the parent company of the Sparrow SMS – popular VAS provider in Nepal.

At present, video consists of 80 percent traffic on internet according to surveys and is growing. “Video making is very costly as well as challenging. Keeping this in mind, we have launched this premium version to ease our global customers,” Amit Agrawal, one of the co-founders of Picovico, said.

“We were getting requests for upgrade from most of the users almost every day. The demand for video making service has increased everywhere around the globe and we have traffic from more than 21 countries.

Hence we are launching a premium version so that we can provide more features to our users,” Dhruba Adhikari, co-founder and chief technical officer of Picovico, said. Picovico is currently available in three different languages — English, Spanish and Japanese.

This app from Nepal ranks among the finest products in the global industry such as Animoto and Magisto.

The premium version of Picovico has new features like new and fast graphics processing unit (GPU)-based video rendering engine that helps in making videos within seconds, six new video themes, high definition videos up to 720 pixels, simplified interface, Application Program Interface (API) for business purposes for mass video production, and additional photo import option from Google photos.

The earlier version only allowed imports from Flickr and Facebook. The premium version of Picovico is available at $6.25 per month when subscribed for a year or for $9.49 per month when subscribed on monthly basis.
