It has been confirmed that the next release of Office 2010 has been planned by Microsoft on June 15, 2010. This is the 14th release of the Microsoft Office package. There are four versions or categories of Microsoft Office 2010 – Professional, Professional Academic, Home and Student, Home and Business.
Microsoft Office 2010 Release Candidate along with Office Web Applications were recently made available for download for technical beta participation thru the Microsoft Connect program.
The official pricing of the Microsoft Office 2010 is listed here for all the four versions of the Office 2010. They got some benefits over purchasers of Office 2007 (read below).
Thus, those eligible customers can upgrade their Office 2007 package to Office 2010 version.
