Soft Tech 2010 – Software Mela

CAN-INFO-TECH-LOGOComputer Association of Nepal (CAN) is organizing the 3rd edition of software exhibition “Soft Tech 2010” in Kathmandu from 16 to 19 Bhadra 2067. This 3 day mela will be venued at Direction Exhibition and Convenstion Center (DECC) of United World Trade Center, Tirpureshwor.

Date: 1st September to 4th September, 2010 ( Bhadra 16 to 19, 2067)

Time: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Venue: DECC, 4th Floor, United World Trade Center, Tripureswor, Kathmandu

CAN has been organizing this type of event annually to contribute to the areas of Nepalese software development and promotion. According to the organizer, the event shall include interaction programs on software development, softwares used in NGOs and INGOs, software privacy, Legal issues and so on.

This Soft Tech 2010 will have 58 stalls and 8 Government Pavilions. Each stall will have free internet (and/or Wi-Fi). Nepalese Banking Sector, Government Offices, Health, Corporate and education sector are targeted for maximal benefits from this event.

CAN has arranged a free stalls fro Purwanchal, Kathmandu, Pokhara and Tribhuvan Universities, Madan Purashkar Pustakalay, and FOSS Nepal as well. CAN Soft Tech 2010 is sponsored by MiDas Technologies.
