Kathmandu Mini Maker Faire 2018
A Maker Faire is a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. KMMF 2018 will bring this global platform to Nepal to help showcase innovations that are unfolding everyday across Nepal to the world.

This year’s theme is DESIGN THE FUTURE: Health, Education and Environment, which stems from the belief that creative solutions for the challenges of the future can come from Nepalis, for Nepalis through cross-cultural exchanges with the global makers.
KMMF 2018 will explore at how the maker movement in Nepal and around the world can contribute to the ways we design our future homes, communities, cities and lives. KMMF will bring together makers and innovators from Nepal and abroad to develop making culture in Nepal.

There will be a KidsZone hosted by Karkhana, a live arts installation by Kaalo101, a community clean up and gardening project by Drishti Kathmandu, ongoing workshops in the Makerspace and Spark Sessions.
