Last year Apple launched their Apple App Store in Nepal along with 31 other countries letting users get benefit and make purchase for their devices. Don’t get confused with this Apple’s App Store aka iTunes Store which was market enabled for Nepal – letting Nepalese iOS uses to purchase Apps, Podcasts, iTunes U, Free Books, Songs, iTunes LPs, Music Videos and Ringtones. However, still Nepalese iOS users can’t purchase Paid Books, iTunes Passes, and Audiobooks. All this is limited to the online world. However, we have some other stories to unveil today – Apple authorised resellers, service & warranty providers in Nepal the legit ones.
The first thing to note is that there are NOT the Apple Stores in Kathmandu (anywhere in Nepal.) These doesn’t exist here, and don’t expect for next decade (hyperpredictive!) However, there are few legitimate and authorized Apple resellers, service providers and even few Apple products warranty providers in the country.

With just three sales location in Nepal, Apple authorized stores can sell only Mac and iPod rest Apple products are not saleable under Apple discretion. While sales stores provide the genuine Apple (International) warranty that comes with Apple products, there is only one Apple authorized Mac service center in Nepal – Tradelink International, associated with EvoStore.
iPhone & Apple services in Nepal
iPhone in Nepal, is thus, not authorized by Apple to sell (but legit) as iPhone has to pass from various telecommunication standards set forth by individual countries. Hence, legitimate authorized Apple retailers should sell only Mac and iPod. In case they sell iPhones, they are just using the power of being authorized Apple retailers.
Also noted was, no Apple-authorized training centers in Nepal for Training & Certifications of Apple products and services. The same goes with Apple consultants in Nepal, there are no any authorized and certified personnel and companies for Consulting Apple products and services in Apple Consultants Network.
Here are other stores that claim to be Apple App Store in Nepal but we failed to find any information from Apple on the validity of their claims. Take your own risk while shopping with them, because Apple products are priced fairly the same in the (same) country of sale (meaning authorized sellers cannot hike price the way they want.)

Big Apple Shop, Durbar Marg- don’t get intimidated by the name, often confused for Apple store BUT is a garment shop.
