Twitter gets integrated into Firefox – Firefox with Twitter

mozilla-firefox-twitterWe were able to add Twitter as a search engine in a list of Search Engines in Firefox previously, but now Twitter has launched an improved app which is more likely to be accepted and used by many users – it is Firefox with Twitter. The world’s most popular browser Firefox is integrating Twitter social network into the browser giving functionalities of Twitter. Firefox with Twitter, though, is not new since it was available onward Firefox 4.

Mozilla Firefox with Twitter instantly connects you to what’s happening in the world. Search people and topics on Twitter using @ and # from the address bar directly.

However, we could not find a way to upgrade current version of Firefox 9 to work with Twitter in Windows only, instead download Firefox with Twitter and then upgrade the browser to reveal the real potential of the microblogging site integration into it. After installing Firefox with Twitter, one can search people and topics created on Twitter directly by using @ for people/profile and # for search terms from the address bar.

With the new look and design of Twitter, they have worked out the pinned Twitter app tab which lights up upon new Tweets to your account. One can learn more about Firefox with Twitter from the Twitter help center here.
