If you have an education technology solution that uses digital technology to improve education and provide equal access to quality learning opportunities, particularly for marginalized communities, you may be eligible for the UNESCO Prize of $25,000 USD. This prize recognizes innovative solutions that harness the power of technology to transform education and support the fundamental human right to receive a quality education. If your solution aligns with these goals, the team at TechSansar encourages you to consider applying for the UNESCO Prize and is willing to assist with the process.

Date wise technologies and impact of technology on our lives

As we move forward, it is crucial that we prioritize student learning outcomes and support lifelong learning. This means ensuring that all individuals who have access to education, regardless of age, are able to acquire foundational literacy skills, develop knowledge and competencies relevant to their lives and livelihoods, and contribute to more sustainable futures. By focusing on these goals, we can use education and technology to create a better future for all individuals. This is what UNESCO is trying to address from the edtech perspective.

UNESCO ICT in Education Prize

The UNESCO ICT in Education Prize recognizes people and organizations that use technology to improve education. Each year, an international jury selects the two best projects and gives them $25,000.

This year, the prize is looking for projects that

  1. make digital learning and content available to everyone,
  2. help people learn how to use technology, and
  3. make sure everyone has access to the internet for education.

This prize is not intended to fund new projects or organizations. Instead, it recognizes existing projects that have creatively used technology in education for at least one year. If you have any ICT4Ed project running in Nepal and meets these criteria, you can apply for the prize by contacting UNESCO or an organization that works with UNESCO. They will provide you with the necessary information to complete your nomination. You can visit ICT Prize weblink here.
