The International Conference on Technology and Innovation Management (TIMConf) is going to held in Kathmandu on October 10, 2012. The conference will be held for three days. The main aim of this international conference is to develop the insights, theories and tools to shape the future of technology and innovation management thinking action.

TIM Conference will try to address the broad issue of promoting knowledge, technology and innovation in sustainable development as a concept that has two equally important objectives. The first, is about how to produce a development or humanitarian “dividend” from the enormous investments made in knowledge, technology and innovation? That is “Sustainable Development Dividends”.  The second objectives, is about how to encourage and build innovation in developing countries and communities.

From this conference, it is expected that, there will  be a initiation of new conversations about – knowledge, technology, creativity, innovation and sustainable development dividend build upon the many that have taken place around the world already and produce a substantive set of recommendations on how to create synergy out of innovation in developing countries.

The main theme of the conference is Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship. The Conference will be organized around the following sub-themes:

  • Innovation Ecosystem and Dynamics
  • Enabling Innovative Enterprises
  • Technology and Innovation Management and Decision Making
  • creativity, Innovation and Decision Making
  • IPR and Financing for Innovation
  • National Technology and Innovation Policy
  • Private Public Partnership in Technology and Innovation Promotion

The conference will include a variety of sessions including keynote speeches and technical paper sessions to address the various themes and sub themes of the conference. A special poster display highlighting the project works of the students and the research initiatives of the faculty members will be organized in the conference.
