Xiaomi, the world renowned Chinese company which deals with smartphones, mobile apps and various design and production worldwide, have introduced a new MI series of their smartphone MI 5 in Nepal. Xiaomi MI 5 features latest DDR 4 RAM of 3 GB and in built storage UFS (Universal Flash Storage) Flash ROM of 32 GB which is more than sufficient even for the most power seeker gadget user.

Xiaomi MI 5 will be available in Nepal starting May 17th, 2016 at an introductory discounted price of Rs 45,999 through out May 20th, according to Vatsal Impex, Nepal’s leading group of companies is the official distributor for Xiaomi in Nepal. This limited time booking of MI 5 can be made online at Kaymu Nepal or official Xiaomi Nepal website. Regular price on stores afterwards is Rs 49,999.

MI 5 is the first smartphone in Nepal that has Qualcomm’s latest and fastest chipset Snapdragon 820 CPU. Mi 5 has 5.15″ Full HD IPS LCD display, 3GB DDR4 RAM, 32GB UFS 2.0 Flash ROM, 16MP rear camera, 4MP UltraPixel front facing camera, Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM/GSM+CDMA), Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI v7, front facing fingerprint sensor chip-level security, 3D glass back, Metal frame body and powerful 3000 mAh non-removable battery according to the official statement of Xiaomi Nepal.

GSMArena benchmark scores Xiami MI 5 on the top of the current smartphone with Basemark OS II score of 2444 and Basemark X of 33110, making MI the smartest phone none to others.

Another advance feature MI 5 features is USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector which is latest in the market trend of smartphones. Even though the phone have non-removable LiPo battery of 3000 mAh power, quick charge technology will charge MI 5 in 30 minutes.
